This program provides an opportunity to gain insights into the depth and breadth of identities and experiences represented within our legal community and foster a greater understanding of the many aspects of critical allyship and its practice. In this workshop, we will explore the most common assumptions embedded into today’s DEI landscape and discuss how these assumptions can unwittingly create polarization and resentment while undermining allyship and inclusion. The goal is to explore a different way of thinking, acting and speaking that builds connection, even during times of stress and conflict.

Presented by J. Ryann Peyton, CBA President
Director, Colorado Attorney Mentoring Program (CAMP)
Colorado Supreme Court
