    Gun Owners Helping Gun Owners
In the United States, about one-half of all suicide deaths are due to firearms.  Having a firearm in the home triples the odds of death by suicide.  Guns are the most lethal method of suicide – with a more than 90% efficacy.

If you have a gun in the home, and if you are thinking of suicide, the Colorado Firearm Safety Coalition – a group of gun owners, guns shops, firearms trainers, and public health researchers – will store your firearm(s) for you.  Getting the firearms out of the home can prevent a suicide.
